Life Fitness Discover SE3, SE3HD, ST, Cybex 70T Console Software Update

    • There are three methods of performing the Life Fitness Discover SE3, SE3HD, ST, Cybex 70T Console Software Update procedure:

    1. When the Product is offline (USB-Stick with min. 16GB needed).
    2. when the product is online (Connected to Internet with correct Port settings to find Facility Connect Server)
    3. when the product is online and registered to a Facility Connect Account.  

     

    Method 1 - Life Fitness Discover SE3, SE3HD, ST, Cybex 70T Console not online SW update procedure:

    1. Download the Discover SE3, SE3HD, ST, or Cybex 70T Console software zip file from Product Software Release Center and extract the contents of that zip file on the top level root directory on any Windows formatted FAT32 USB stick. 
    2. Attach the console to the base.
    3. Power up the unit.
    4. Wait until the unit is properly booted to the Attract Screen.
    5. Insert the USB stick.
    6. The console auto-detects the software package and proceeds with the installation.
    7. Update process is approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
    8. The system will return to the Attract Screen after the update completes.
    9. Please follow the steps below to check software versions:
    • Press the “Language Button“ on the Attract Screen.
    • Tap along the bottom corners of the dialog: Left - Right - Left - Right
    • Once in System Options, console Software Versions is displayed on the top row

    Method 2 - Life Fitness Discover SE3, SE3HD, ST, Cybex 70T Console online SW update procedure:

     
    1. Press "Language" quick jump button 1x  (located in right hand column next to main graphic)
    2. Touch the bottom corners of the Language Dialog in the following sequence:  Left - Right - Left - Right
    3. Press Software Updates under System Options
    4. Verify that the latest APK version is the required software version, then Update:
     
    5. OS image will be updated:

    6. APKs will be downloaded:

    7. Close System Options Dialog by selecting the " X " in the upper right corner:

    8. Installation progress continues copying data in setup utility screen:

    9. 3RD Party Apps are installed:

    10. Installing System Update robot screen is shown

    11. System update continues to progress with "Running Man" screen

    12. Applications are then installed

    13. 3rd Party applications will be installed next:

    14. Finally MIB is programmed which then completes the software update.

    15. Please follow the steps below to verify software versions:
    • Press the “Language Button“ on the Attract Screen.
    • Tap along the bottom corners of the dialog.
    • Left - right - left - right
    • Once in System Options, console Software Versions is displayed on the top row
