There are some occasions where a product frame can rust if not taken care of properly. We do not see rust as a typical problem and also recommend mild cleaners. Certain corrosive cleaning products and disinfectants are loaded with chlorides (label example below) which can ultimately lead to rust.
Any weldments that rust usually come with other telltale signs like rusting hardware, chrome discoloration / rust, etc. that are indicative of harsh environment conditions. It is crucial that cleaners / disinfectants are wiped off in a timely manner and that approved cleaners are used.
