There are three methods of performing the Life Fitness SL Console Software Update procedure:
- When the Product is offline (Console Starts the Update automatically)
- when the product is offline (Manually start/force the Update).
- when the product is online and registered to a HALO Account.
Method 1: Auto Start Update from USB
Tools Required: USB 2.0 stick 8gb or 16gb
Time: 15 minutes
1. Download latest Integrity SL software file "slconsole.lfupd" from Product Software Release Center and extract the contents of that zip file on the top level root directory on any Windows formatted FAT32 USB stick. Note: Alternatively, the following article Life Fitness, Cybex Console Software from Halo Fitness Cloud shows how to download console software from Halo Fitness Cloud and extract to Root Directory of USB Stick.
2. Insert USB stick into USB port in front panel. Note: Make sure the USB port spring loaded door is lifted and USB is fully seated.
3. Software update will auto start and display STARTING SOFTWARE UPDATE. The update will take 5-10 minutes.
4. When update is complete console will reboot. Note: Make sure to remove USB stick immediately after reboot to prevent the risk of the console auto-starting the software install again.
5. Remove USB stick.
Successful update: Console reboots and returns to home screen.
Unsuccessful update: Console will display Update Failed and reboot after 30 seconds. Check software on USB stick and retry update procedure.
If Auto Start Update did not start automatically, perform Manual Push Update option in Manager's Configuration to force a software update from USB. See below instructions (Method 2)
